Booked for lunch but table wasn't reserved when we arrived. 30 mins to be asked what we wanted to drink and over an hour to get our meals although the locals who arrived after we did were served promptly. Meals were extremely dissappointing bland rissoto, soggy salt and pepper squid salad and over cooked steak.Won't be back and recommend others to stay away.
Amazing food, great hospitality - would recommend it to anyone. Try the fish !
This pub has improved alot under the new owners! Chef Kirby is now in charge of the kitchen & the pub offers 2 menus, the classic schnitzel & chips kinda menu and a more refined gastro pub style menu with a few creative and well done dishes, I had the beetroot risotto as entree & steak as main all meals were great.Well done to new owners & Kirby for turning it around!

Found this excellent friendly place in the late evening and were very pleased with everything: great food in a friendly and busy bar, and a lovely room with a four poster bed. We were made to feel very welcome as Brits on our travels. We would recommend wholeheartedly.
